With the medium of video, i explore the process of remembering, establishing unusual connections between the past and the present.
I often use archival footage and i like to dive into video technologies from the past, wondering what they mean to us nowadays. I do so by looking at my own family history which is shaped by migration and the way videotaping would play a role in dealing with origin and belonging.
Next to my artistic practise I work as a freelancer in various fields including:
Video editing, graphic/motion design, radio/podcast production, organisational and technical supervision for cultural events and projects.
